Birth Doula Services
A birth doula is someone trained and experienced in childbirth who provides continuous support (emotional, physical and informational) to the parents before, during and just after childbirth. Clinical studies have proven that an experienced doula’s presence at birth can:
- Result in shorter labors with fewer complications
- Reduce a mother’s desire for pain medication and/or epidurals
- Reduce the need for labor-inducing drugs, forceps or vacuum extraction
- Enhance positive feelings about one’s childbirth
- Helps the partner become more involved in the birth (to the extent of their comfortable level)

Doula Package $975/family
The Birth Doula package includes:
- 1-2 prenatal visits at the spa to discuss preferences and desired experiences during childbirth
- On call 24/7 by phone or email to answer any questions or give support
- Maintain back up doula on call for the birth in the event of an emergency
- Constant physical, emotional and informational support during labor all the way through just after childbirth
- Incorporating massage, breathing, pressure point and positions techniques throughout labor and childbirth
- Assisting with breastfeeding (if desired)
- 1-2 postnatal visits at the spa to discuss birthing experience, any issues and to provide local resources
